About Eva
  • I’m Eva Mbiru, founder of Spiced in Watford Cooking Experience.
For me, the kitchen has always been more than a place to prepare food — it’s a space for connection, laughter, and hope.

After my own life challenges, I discovered that cooking with others lifted my spirits and helped me feel part of something bigger.
I wanted to share that feeling with people who might be feeling lonely, isolated, or simply in need of a change of atmosphere.

That’s why I created Spiced in Watford — a place where everyone is welcome, you don’t need to be a chef, and the focus is on friendship and inspiration.

  • Why I Founded It

I started Spiced in Watford Cooking Experience after discovering how powerful food can be in bringing people together.
What began as my personal journey of rebuilding after life’s challenges has grown into a safe, friendly space where strangers become friends over shared meals.

We welcome anyone — whether you’ve stopped cooking and want to feel inspired again, you’re looking to share your culinary skills, or you simply want to get out of the house and meet new people.

From personal healing to community connection — one recipe at a time.
